More Ethical Situations

Case#1: I think its somewhere between unethical and criminal because its not really bad, just helping out a friend, and not a big deal. However, everyone else has to pay for the program, while his friend gets it for free seems pretty illegal so that's why i think its criminal too.


Case #2: I think its unethical, but not criminal because he is the one who created the program, however he made this for his job, his company, which i think makes it unethical


Case #3: I think this is criminal because he hacked a security code, and reviews confidential company salaries of corporate executives. Even tough he didn't do anything with the information doesnt give him permission to do it anyway.

Case #4: Well i think its criminal because its very illegal, but i personally wont care as long as they pay me back, and its with interest.

Case #7: I think its completely ethical, becuase his boss told him to do it.

2.)I do think AI will happen one day. I am not sure when, but we will. You see it on T.V and movies all the time. Its just a matter of time before we have them in real life..



3.)I think AI is a bad thing, it could be good, but to me it seems more like a bad thing than a good thing.The worst case scenario would be something like "I Robot". The best thing that could happen, is something like cleaning your house.

4.) I think star trek is not reailstic at all. I guess it was not a total waste of class time.
